Going to Miami to play on Wade's team? (Not gonna happen.) Putting on a one-hour special just to simply go back to Cleveland? (Not gonna happen.) The only logical choice is to play with another max player in Amare in the greatest arena/city in the world.
The Heat should have good chemistry with these talented players...they are not your typical egotistical multi-million dollar athlete.. with as much money as the heat are (were) under the cap, there is still room to add another 1-2 role players that can contribute off the bench. Get a great shooter from somewhere, and a big man in the middle, and things are good.
The one thing going in the Knicks' favor...Lebron has admitted that he loves New York, so why wouldn't he choose to play in the city he loves...plus, commissioner David Stern has shown a fondness for promoting the NBA in big-city markets...only the New York-metro area has been lagging lately...Stern must be thinking how good it would be for the league if Lebron went to the Big Apple...there may be some hidden incentives...
But here's the problem. Two or three great players don't make a championship team. You've got to have the supporting cast, the bench. The Heat don't have it. The Lakers do. The Celtics do. Orlando does.
