TVIX could even close POSITIVE today
All these idiots who keep posting that yesterday's action means a complete change in ETFs and ETNs are uneducated IDIOTS.
All it was, was a HUGE money making opportunity, and a chance to make a LOT of people LOSE a LOT of money.
ETNs and ETFs are here to stay.
All these "dooms dayers" are nothing more than ignorant retail shorts who chase moves......and they always lose all their money.

Agree... but unless you have connections, you are the last to know. When TVIX was moving down I searched high and low for the reason. Could not find anything and started my position with only 500 shares. By the time I knew what was going on, it was too late. It was a nice haircut. Therefore, as retail we are at a huge disadvantage. Now that I know, I added at 8.56 in pre-market and will continue to add on the dips.

no one is saying ETF's are goijg away dude. But ETN's are now going to be perceived, valued, and traded differently based on yesterday's event.

And every time they happen, all you "dooms dayers" come out of the woodwork and post how everything will be changing.
Nonsense.
Maybe they should reinstate the UPtick rule?
They bring that up every time the market sells off big.......and then they never mention it again.
