I doubt there is much pain for shorts. UVXY was at $6 just 11 days ago.

My position is down 4K from yesterday's 5.04 short. forgot to set stop. It doesn't seem the market will have a big drop any time soon. Will wait and cover at 4s if it reaches that before market correction. Yesterday's shoot up was mostly due to VIX up and rolling into future contract.

The Fed will use the "Obama's wild card" to help Obama. I think it is not good for the country, but he will do it. I don't like to see Obama to win, , but I believe Obama will fire the last shot before the election result.

I will stay short from 5.55, right now i am still green.

Johnson,
Don't short until who hear exact words of what the Fed will do on Fri meeting. I think the Fed will pump the market to push the market higher.
