Wasn't able to short UVXY, but shorted about a thousand shares of VXX at OptionsHouse without a problem...

Mista, they don't let me short VXX either. Maybe it really is just me.

just checked scottrade, zippo, usually means UVXY is headed down, jmo and good luck!

Why not using puts. It is safer.

Do that too but not crazy about playing time premiums. This thing does occasionally bounce around before predictably dropping like a stone. Shorts have treated well over the long haul. Accumulating them like gold handed down from 10 generations.
