    • thats your stupid tax.

this board is littered with longs that saw 52 week lows and highs in 2012 over 500 on uvxy and thought they were about to buy, hold and retire only to give up a few days later after being down 10 to 25% or more.

there's about 6 weeks out of the year to be long uvxy and i have one question for every uvxy long, Do you feel lucky ?

because thats the only way youre making money going long uvxy or tvix.

      • When you see how far uvxy has dropped over the years it very rational to think one is buying at the bottom. Or shall we say, at the right time. Its also that way for several other "short" etfs that appear to be so cheap, that you just can't ignore them. Then they all fall further into the rabbit hole. Even those who have watch uvxy over the last two weeks have a hard to believing it was $31 just a few days ago and now chump change. I'd buy now but figure Wells Fargo will beat tomorrow and the market will jump another 50 plus points. If anyone hear can spot a "bear" market coming please tell me since if appears (and hard to believe) 2013 could be another bull year with most stock rising. Who would oof thought with run away deficit, out of control spending, 1/3 of Europe in free fall and slowing China the US stock market roars higher.
