70% of all phone sales were 2G that market is growing as fast as VHS tapes are selling at Walmart. And the 7 billion Chinese are a lot more knowledgeable than to settle for that #$%$. Time for a change at the top.
For most of China/Asia there is no 4G or even 3G service that's why they are still selling 2G phone. Note in the CC 2 G volume was actually up but the per unit price was down. Of course everywhere they are making the transition to 3 G and 4G/LTE and the company has a dominant position in that. The management certainly miscalculated the impact of this transition.
