Might be another day where we end flat at $4.85. Okay by me. It's holding up fairly well post dividend and we should get the announcement soon of earnings date and if we are really lucky, another announcement of where they stuck more money.
i invite you to track my stock picks....but please be honest..i said buy and hold stocks for 2012...the recommendation is for those who do not wish to trade short term like me..and my call still looks very healthy...now, much to your chagrin..i have been in and out of JRCC for a 1.50 per share since my call..and i am now getting ready to do it again....smile!
You are truly "a legend in your own mind."
Your two big picks on 12/23 were JRCC and ODP. Since your big annoucement, ODP has gone from $2.32 to $2.28 and JRCC has gone from $6.80 to $6.68.
I'm going to track our two picks "genius" and post updates on their progress or regress
Based on your response Ron, it looks like you do know what it feels like to miss a run up while bouncing in and out for a few here and there. You sure did get pretty emotional about it. And I'm sure you know what it feels like to be stuck in an overnight run down. Or maybe NCT's recent little run up has your buy in numbers looking too low. I'm not saying you don't make money cheesehead. All I'm saying is over confidence, errogance, and betting on the psychology of the investment world gets you burned more times than few. You know what burn I'm talking about and it's not hemroids :P
So you agree with me that the dividend is too high??....hence your statement "holding up" fairly well post dividend....i like it gogo..you are starting to understand that the dividend is NO reason to own NCT....it is very gratifying to see you growing in your approach to investing!
What you fail to understand is that NCT's raison d’être is to pay dividends and if they want to attract buyers to drive the stock price up, they need to pay the highest prudent dividend.
Again, I suggest that you take a Finance 101 course somewhere and learn how to read a balance statement and a cash flow analysis
No, I don't actually. The stock price is too low. We will never agree on that though, so might as well just leave it be.
On another note, thanks for sharing some of your picks recently Ron. I will give you credit that you seem to pick fairly well. Anymore on your list to watch?
GoGo, NCT has held up remarkably well. No complaint from me. And, I think there will be a very modest runup to dividend pay date 1/30. Lookin' for about $5. Give or take a cent here or there. However, if there is a Greek default we'll take a hit temporarily. GL2U.
