It's sort of unusual to have a high tech/finance company go into mining. The use of the term "Under-ground Mining" suggests perhaps that it won't be coal they are getting into. Most of that is strip mined.
Maybe they should invest in Lithium for batteries, rare earth metals for magnets, copper for wiring and electrical devices. However, all of the above are stip mining operations. Gold and Silver are some of the few underground operations that are sustainable. I am with you, what are they up to here? I bought GE back in September of 2010. It moved down and stayed down for a long time, I just came back into the money a few months ago after the SP got through playinng patty cake with the 21.00 level.
