With NG prices high enough to put all thermal coal back in the money other than central app one would think that market would be getting better. Also it will mean less exports to hurt the international coal market. Coal exports to China were near all time highs last month. Understanding price is down for met coal but with the thermal coal market improving in the US the amount of exports competing for sales for Euro or South America will be less. What gives. With new debt offering there is no liquidity crisis in the company.
makes you wonder if its deliberate to make it so cheap a buyer can't help but make an offer soon. might be audrey realizing they wont win and buyout is a way to get back at management and a way to sell out their stake for a quick gain
Clearly, Audley is behind this aided and abetted by some big players that are in their camp. However, always know that what goes down must come up (as long as it is a leader in its field) and what goes up must come down (AAPL, a good example). I stayed with WFC from 20 to 8 and then back up to 35, using covered calls month over month. At the end, I made a profit on the shares and a ton of money via covered calls. Took me a bit more than 1 year to break even just based on the covered calls premiums. Something to consider here as well.
