SN the secondary for selling shareholders has not been offered yet...they can do that at any tiem. Has anyone heard when?

SN did their offering for the 5 million shares for the company, but not the 6,285,638ml share filing for selling holders...they can float that at any time, as you know...even months from now...so not a big deal. I just saw that.

Sanchez Energy announces offering of 5 mln shares of common stock (34.71 )
Co announced that it intends to commence an underwritten public offering of 5 mln shares of the co's common stock. The co intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to partially fund its pending Catarina acquisition. If the pending Catarina acquisition is not consummated, the co intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, including working capital and to repay borrowings under its credit facility. Mr. A.R. Sanchez, Jr., Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation and TAEP Security Trust expect to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock. The co will not receive any proceeds from the sale of stock by the selling stockholders.

Sanchez Energy announces private offering of $700 mln in Senior Notes (34.71 )
Co announced that it has commenced a private offering to eligible purchasers of $700 mln in aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2023. Sanchez Energy intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to fund its pending Catarina acquisition and for general corporate purposes, including working capital and to repay borrowings under its credit facility.

There is NO offering for the selling holders, they simply will have the option to already sell the shares they hold. Happens all the time, and if sold in mass it will drive the stock down, but that is not likely. Many hold them forever.
