We were murdered last week, today was the cremation!! What happens after that?
The TRE.TO report by Muddy Waters and the hit the stock instantly took is really incredible. A company that has been around since 1995 and of its size taken down by a single report is just unbelievable.
These hits keep happening on Fridays which is tending to ruin the weekend somewhat, but checking out and time for some kids baseball!! We have to start getting some value voltures next week. For those of us with much higher basis its hard to keep buying additional shares, but there will be people looking over the weekend for some babies in this RTO bath water. Still think Liwa is a baby so just continuing to hold.
Sent another email to Daphne to "Show me the Money" cash by the same Deloitte audit team that unearthed the LFT bank issue. This would at least give some peace of mind that the value can not go below the cash value which we continue to get ever closer to.
Next week will be a better week based solely on the law of averages. Take care all and have a good weekend!!!
You may be happy tomorrow or next week, but what about next year? You think this company is a fraud? You think all chinese RTO's are frauds? Are you maybe letting some bad apples spoil the whole bunch? Are you maybe being myopic? Sorry to throw out so many questions but just curious to hear your reasoning behind your statement.
The obvious question for you is how do you know the company or the CEO weren't buying today? Because the stock price went down? Like anyone else the company or the CEO want the best price possible and will not recklessly push it up. In fact company buyback rules are specifically designed to keep the company from manipulating the stock price up. The decline in the stock price sucks but some folks on this board incorrectly think that the company can or should defend the price. The real issue is the investment community doesn't believe the story strongly enough to defend against those who dont believe it at all. Did you buy more today? Did you call up friends and family ranting about what a great buy LIWA is at these prices? Neither did I. I am long but have commited as much capital to a battleground stock like this as I care to at this time.
