If draghi just made a comment, in the position that he is in, when he says that "they will do whatever it takes" should carry some weight for at least those with direct magnitude to the problem. Otherwise he should just keep his mouth shut. I would say that the euro markets acted appropriately considering what came from that high office.
Clean, there is nobody for that job. BROKE is BROKE. Simple as that. There are no magical answers. They all need to swallow the bad medicine that they created for themselves. And, the way things are around our country some should consider that shot across the bow as one to pay great attention to.
Oh, bernanke will not be reappointed in January and I am thankful for that.
You're so right Ponz, the ECB is definitely not the FED. Their Kung Fu is weak.
And as far as an "end game" goes... I guess that will happen when the 'truth' can no longer be swept under the carpet by the bansters. Or in the USofAs case kicked down the road indefinitely.
Right now it's all an act... It keeps people believing that the system is real like B.O. flying around in Air Force One or riding in that large black 'beas' limo... Gives the illusion of power where none actually exists... Keeps the sheeple from seeing the hand pulling the strings.
my understanding is that Draghi merely made a comment...
it was the worldwide press that amplified and rebroadcast that comment
about 1,000X magnification!
however, he looks like the wrong pick to be in that job.
he doesn't have the demeanor and gravitas....he's a professor type in a deadly serious arena with trillions at stake.
i think we can be glad that Bernanke at least is not a flake or lightweight......all those Congressional hearings where Ben had to dodge bullets probably helped get him ready for serious battle.
I do wonder how it all ends and at what length of time? What is the end game?
I think that time grows shorter and shorter especially when you are dealing with disparate countries. Unlike the great usofa that can kick the can till 5 generations down the road the time is near for something serious to take place over in trash land.
But, thats what eurotrash gets for setting up the euro in the first place with one government lieing to the next. Bunch of lies.
So true... And now we hear that Ken Wattret who is chief Euroarea economist for BNP is quite furious with Draghi as well. The reason? Precisely what others warned would happen last week... Namely, that Draghi was posturing and attempting to bluff the Bundesbank into accepting his "conditions."
And we all know how that turned out today, right?
Never was to be believed in the first place and I don't know how anybody could have accepted that bill of goods. The only hope we had was that those misfits would be on vacation for several weeks and not be able to open their traps. draghi this, that POS and all of them hopelessly doomed eurotrash muddaF__ks.
I had heard that day that he opened his mouth that a vacation was in store for them. Nope, and none of them deserve even 1 day of vacataion.
The bottom line Ponz is that Draghi bought the markets a quick 5% rise for month end markups. However, in the process (and especially after today) he made sure that nobody will ever again "believe" him.
Turd or throw-up or a combination of the 2.
What a sad state of affairs.
You say you want a revolution well well you know.......
They need a revolution out there.
Heck we are not too far from needing one here in the US of A.
