Per Marine Traffic the OCEAN CONFIDENCE as of 2012-12-19T14:36:00 (UTC) was anchored off Point Noire. Diamond Offshore's December SEC filing states that the current maintenance will be completed "late December."
A recent CIE filing concerning the Ocena Confidence is as follows so it will be some time before we can expect further information:
Cameia #2 Production Drill Stem Test
We currently anticipate that the Ocean Confidence drilling rig, which was returned to Diamond Offshore Drilling for repairs, will be returned to us in
January, at which time we plan to conduct a production drill stem test to determine the reservoir potential, if any, of the lowest newly discovered zone in
the Cameia structure. This new zone was discovered by the Cameia #2 appraisal well. The Cameia #2 appraisal well, which was drilled approximately
3.5 kilometers (2.2 miles) south from the Cameia #1 exploratory well to the total depth of 5,475 meters (17,963 feet), confirmed the presence of a large
hydrocarbon accumulation in what is a high quality reservoir

Panoro Energy ASA (PEN), which searches for and produces oil in West Africa and Brazil, rose the most in four months in Oslo after making its second oil discovery offshore Gabon, boosting prospects of a commercial development... Panoro said it found crude in two formations at the Tortue prospect in its Dussafu Marin permit, including a 22-meter (72 feet) oil column. The company had previously estimated resources at 28 million barrels of oil. The discovery was made about 15 kilometers (9 miles) south-east of the 2011 Ruche find, which is estimated to hold 11 million barrels of oil.
