I'd like to hear some detail from cobalt for the Ardennes failure, but we won't get it. That's 150 million of shareholder money gone and the exploration vp is happy they safely drilled a deep dry hole. 15% of market cap wiped out in one day with huge volume. I didn't think the news would be taken so negatively-but I wouldn't expect large shareholders to bail if they had confidence cobalt could be successful in west Africa-clearly the risk in owning cobalt has increased with cameia 2 and now Ardennes.
Nope! Can't feel a thing ;-) Result may come tomorrow, next week, or next month for all I know. Not much point going on about it incessantly. When Cobalt are done with Ardennes they will give us an update. That's the only thing that counts.
Agreed. Results should imminent for Ardennes (40%) interest and Diaman (21%) interest with the large potential Lontra (40%) and Mavinga (40%) with expected completions in Q3 or Q4. With Diaman now reportedly being logged we should expect some updates from CIE soon.
Watch the volume. If we increase the volume today and tomorrow you can further see the momentum building. You'll know an announcement is immenant if volume is double normal ten-day average volume. The specialist will be the first to know. If they see heavy sales volume they will drop the price range and we'll know bad news is coming. Otherwise, good news is immenant with heavy rising volume and price. News will leak out.
