One of the negative things driving the decline in CIM has been the fact that this online blurb SeekingAlpha has had something negative to say about CIM practically every day for the fast few months.
Must be some kind of a tout sheet for shorts. The faint hearted panic when the continual barrage of contrived negativity hits.
Usually it is you who has bought to early in the turn around cycle. this time it seems to have been company officers. you should benefit from that, however, (cim) should retest the lows - so don't buy till 2.85

Uncle Ben has handed the mREITS a free pass on short rates for two years. Short rates capped reduces hedging costs against rapid increase.
As soon as panic leaves the market long rates will rise and mREITS will make tons of money.
Cover your short before long rates go up.
This is off topic so I apologize. I was hoping to get your input on a recent SA article that was written on CIM. I posted a response as "BillieJones". You understand the finer points of accounting far better than I do, so if you have a chance I would love to hear what you think. Also there is a thread started discussing the article on the CIM board titled "Is it true?"
THis stock has been going down for sometime in case you haven't noticed. Even before this downturn this stock was headed for hell. Check out the chart. This POS is not going up anytime soon. This is the real World and not Fantasy Land. You can wish all you want but that is not going to change anything. This is a dividend scheme where they dangle a huge dividend out there while all the time you are losing your principal. That is the facts.
