    You be the judge

"Based on alumni survey responses reported in 2013 from our bachelor's degree earners, we estimate that the average salary of these alumni is $39,654, which is an increase of 10.5% over the average salary they were earning when they first enrolled at Ashford"

10.5% average salary increase of bachelor's vs. no degree? Are you kidding me? And an average salary afterwards of $39k? HOLY CRIPES!!!

And how much are they paying for that degree? 120 credits at $400 (today) plus fees and expenses ($150/course) so figure $50k (which is probably low end estimate).

Hmmm - average salary of $36k before the degree, bust hump, pay maybe $50k and at the end of it you get a $3600 annual increase (their estimate)? Are you joking me? Seriously? That $3600 increase (before taxes) is likely not enough to make the payments on the loans they have to take out to pay for it.

Who in the world would fall for that? Apparently quite a few people considering the numbers the company is reporting.

At some point a higher authority is going to step in and put an end to this.

I feel sorry for the students who get conned in to this, but for those here who are "investors" you'll ultimately get what you deserve. If this is just a daytrading toy for you, have fun. If you're in this for the long-term value proposition - you're going to be very sorry.
