Manpower came out and said that hiring is picking up. Should be good news for Staffmark and CODI.
Thanks. I didn't see the MAN data, but all the anecdotal data I have seen indicates measurable hiring in many factories, ie., Ford. With a dismal Q4 in 2009, and steady factory improvement in the last couple of quarters, I think YOY and QOQ will be dramatically better for Staffmark and us.
Having said that, I certainly don't see any improvement in hiring or my unemployed friends finding jobs, but maybe that is a more localized issue ... Calif's economy isn't going to improve for years.
