Currently, Fox has ten positions open at the Watsonville plant. Interestingly, about 1/2 are buyers (inventory and raw materials). As it seems unlikely that a business would be hiring buyers if business was flat or slowing, that certainly suggests good things going on in Watsonville.
Fox is also selling OE shocks now for most of the domestic truck market so if you own a truck and need the shocks replaced, demand the best, insist on Fox OE shocks! (Put some of those distribution dollars back to work in the company. Think of it as another form of dividend reinvestment.)
Lots of tailwind for Fox. With Q1 revs up almost 100% YOY, if that is any indication of the rest of the year, Fox could do +300m revs and 40m income. Hands down, Fox has been CODI's biggest contributor to income (although Staffmark appears to have finally turned the corner and due to its size, will likely outpace Fox in 2011). If Fox were to move into high performance street car shocks for the 16-30 Y.O. demographic, then get a couple of well-placed product placements or viral videos ... Well, it doesn't hurt to dream.
