    Quiet Board

    Why do the say that the "company has not been the same since" Massoud left? It's true that the market reacted negatively to his absence, but as far as I can see the company carries on in exactly the same way.

    • Just my opinion Yard Bird, I agree with you as far as business as usual, & I also agree with others, a Co. just isn`t the same when proven leadership drags up. I haven`t seen any results from the Staffmark sell off(profit for shareholders). I know they bought into Ergo & Camelback, maybe I`m looking for results to soon?

      • We keep getting the dividend, which is enough profit-sharing for me.

        The Ergo and Camel Bak acquisitions are extremely smart in my opinion; New parents and outdoor enthusiasts are willing to pay premium prices for these kind of products. It's true that there's a lot of competition (as with any business, except the government :)), but it's still a high margin business in which a brand name makes a huge difference. The aim, of course, is to grow the business and sell at a profit, and Compass has a good track record in that regard.
