TWC already sucks, and now with this idiotic idea to cap bandwidth, they've shown themselves to be inept. They are going down the same road as Sprint: hubris causing them to alienate their customers, which will end with a mad dash by those customers to any alternative they can find.
Don't forget, even where TWC has a supposed monopoly, one can get terrestial signals pretty much anywhere -- we aren't stuck with this P. O. S. company, and you'd better make sure you're not either. Sell, sell, sell!
I would agree, although a little less fanatically. The issue with TWC is it's inability to see through the long-term implications of bandwith capping. I can't imagine other telcoms riding this bandwagon, and without enough of a market share users who are not geographically isolated will be encouraged to take their business elsewhere.
