TWC attempted to sell JUST the Nebraska division, at the time, Charter was interested, but they couldn't meet on a price. Charter currently has a hold on central and western Nebraska, while TWC posseses most of southeast Nebraska including Lincoln. Cox holding the Omaha Metro market. A big problem for this merger is TWC has built a system that is far more advanced in Nebraska than most of the other markets. The system in Kansas City is not even close to what the Southeast Nebraska market has. This makes a deal extremely expensive.
