It isn't going to happen because it makes no financial sense. JNPR and EXTR topline growth numbers are not that far apart. JNPR has a little stronger growth but JNPR also has a mkt cap seven times bigger. Their products may complement each other but one of the two valuations makes no sense! It might happen if their valuations get closer together but either JNPR needs to tank or EXTR goes really nuts.
JNPR might make a good short!
