    Northern Dynasty/Taseko Mines

I noticed last night that there is alot of cross-over of Directors of these 2 companies and both have up-ticked substantialy since July.

Taseko owners are hyped that their Prosperty Mine property will get Ottawa appproval shortly, despite FN opposition and opposition from some BC environmental groups.

I came across the Directorship cross-overs by fluke.

I was randomly typing Mining Claim Licence #'s from the BC Online Minerals Claim Map (specifically 092O)where Taseko/Prosperty has it's claims and up-popped Dynasty Minerals as owning some claims.

Does anyone know if these 2 companies are courting?

      • Wow! That is awesome information! I had never heard of HDI.

Not only do they have a strong presence in Taskeo and Northern Dynasty but they either own or control, or have large positions in other companies that came up when I was doing my online BC mining claim checks around the Taseko Prosperty Project.

Other companies tht came up were Amarc, Anooraq, Ricardo, Detour Gold, and somehow Heatherdale Resources rings a bell but I can't remember if they owned claims there.

And they are all inter-connected! Yikes! It is a bit scary.

I sure hope that they obey the rules and don't share insider information over a few drinks at the Vancouver Club.

It would make it tough for a small investor like myself to make a buck.

Anyways, thanks again the info. DM

    • Yea, it's the same 'pump & dump'!...Same owner, same M/O!

    • One would think one of the majors be courting then for their 90 million + ounces in gold??

      • Yeah, and I think Tech is behind Taseko. They got 3 of their heavy weights in place, Hallbauer the Director and CEO came over from Tech and Richard Mundi a Director is still I believe a senior CEO at Tech and they just made an appointment of another Tech guy to their board.

If you add up the donations to the BC Liberal party over the last few years ie Directors, their affiliated companies, their accounting firm and their legal beegle's firm well, it comes to well over one half a million. It is no wonder the BC Environmental panel and cabinet approved it.

I've just started researching Northen Dynasty and their Peeble Project. It doesn't appear to have the enironmental issues of Taseko's Prosperty Project. Or does it?

I'm wondering if big companies promote certain juniors in sensitive areas where their might be heavy opposition from Natives or environmental groups.

If they get the permits in place, they can pounce.

If the company fails, they can wait another 5 years, grease the right pockets and try again. All the while their hands are squeaky clean.

I'm new at this. Am I learning? DM
