NAK sits on state permitted land. This was upheld by Alaska' Superior Court - last October. The EPA doesn't have the jurisdiction to super cede State law. Also, if Romney wins the White House (I have no way of knowing if he will), Lisa Jackson and her entire EPA team will unemployed.
At $4 bucks, with out the permitting risk, this stock would be $20, even in today's depressed mining valuation market using GDXJ as our proxy. I think you are a little late to panicking here,
Susan, If you own it, feel free to panic sell on Monday. If not and the fact that you watch MSNBC -leads me to speculate, you are an Obama supporter and fan of the EPA. You probably do not own any shares and are vocal critic to Pebble. Either way - thanks for posting the article.
You sound like a Republican with your "low effort" thinking. Never trust a Republican for investment analysis. Their lizard brain waves can't be trusted.
Get used to the Republicans. They have 4 years of presidential power coming up after the November elections.
NAK isn't $1 today.
BuyHighSellLow,
Can't get anything past you. I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
What's up with the personal attack? Just posting a mainstream article that kinda has an impact on what we're doing here. Whether it's negative or positive news, it's appropriate. No reason to get emotional and insecure about it.
Since we're making generalizations, I've always theorized to my friends about the wussification of men nowadays, it sounds like you might fit in that category. Can't handle bad news, attack the messenger.
Personal attack - you read some article on MSNBC - which is way left in terms of journalism (that is well known). Then you say, NAK is going open Monday at $1, because of this article. Why would Anglo American have already invested $400 million, and just commit to another $107 million.
The article was good and I am glad you posted it. The silly about opening a $1 on Monday is what made me question your credibility. I'm just sayin'
