There are ALWAYS opportnities for growth at Value Line. Jean's ego knows no bounds whatsoever and can grow no matter size it already has reached. How many other executives can wear all of the following hats: Chairman, CEO, President, and COO?
cican the subscriptions are up because the price was cut in half. ten percent more subscriptions don't make up for 50 percent less revenue per subscription.
the top line is losing out and the company keeps shrinking. That the whole story. Only hope is buyback of last 15 percent of stock not owned by the company. The float is almost gone. but at 50 bucks it might never happen.
earnings are not up if you exclude securities trades. Operating earnings go down every quater because subsctriptions keep getting cheaper and less people get them. If there's pressure on mutual fund management fees, then look out cuz then both segments will scream.
in a few more years only the libraries will have a subscription unles they give away as much as morningstar.
