    Looks like another strong quarter

With all the recent reports of auto discount wars to move inventory, looks like CPSS is going to have another monster quarter. With their low rate securitization deals over the past 2-3 years and shortly no debt, they look like a prime acquisition target for any of these multiple players reported as aggressively pursuing growth in auto subprime. Stock has been trading very strangely lately...definitely a stock with upside potential...

    • I hope so. But the real question is when or if the stock price will rise. It seems to have stagnated and I wonder if it will ever hit $10 again? Also, I wonder if anyone thinks CPSS could be a takeover candidate?

      • I dont think CPSS is a take-over candidate, but they are growing into an industry leader (small cap wise). I think they can get up to $9 in the short term with another good Q in Q2, its very undervalued, but thats because they arent growing that fast, and they dont pay a dividend, so its essentially dead money. It would be a safe investment if they were a 10B$ company, but they are only 200Mil - I do think they will continue to grow in this environment and we can inch towards $9 in the next 3-6months.
