    • I was in Jamba over the weekend and my wife got a green tea caffienee boost.

    • At lease more coffee flavored smoothies....that would work with their business model. Actually selling coffee would throw their store operations into a tizzy. I sometimes make coffee flavored smoothies at home. There are many ways to skin that cat.

    • and strippers

    • great companies understand the meaning of having strong coffee

      "McDonald's seen adding specialty coffees

    • I guess I'm in one of those testing areas (nyc), because I tried a breakfast item with granola, and I loved it. For me, the added yoghurt & granola helped make the fruit smoothie more of a meal - it filled me up a little longer than the regular smoothie does.
Every time I go to jamba, it is packed. The service is wonderful (in new york? it's something extraordinary - they're actually nice and call you by name -- wowww), the place is clean, etc, etc, etc.
From what I've seen, there is NO need for coffee. We all know that niche has been filled - though there is room for more healthy alternatives - they could add oatmeal-type breakfast bars or muesli or powerbars or wraps, salads, etc.
Coffee would definitely marr jamba's image, and it is all about image. Confusing customers is not a great idea, and jamba is no coffee house or cafe. There's no seating area, bathrooms, etc. Right now (what I've seen here in nyc), it's strictly a buy-and-go fruit smoothie bar.
Adding coffee would probably turn the ppl, who love jamba juice now, off completely.

    • this morning

walking from the car to the store area

jamba to the left of me

      sbux to the right

mmmmm which to go to which to go to lots of people at sbux, one or two in the jamba this is a no brainer right? go to jamba, less wait time will get to work sooner

but i want some ice coffee

oh yea can't get that at jamba

oh well will have to endure the sbux line

      WHY DOESN'T JAMBA GET IT?

    • ever since college, love to have coffee during the day but never at night (ok maybe some decaf after a good meal)

someone needs to inform management what is elementary

it cannot be called breakfast without coffee

    • "In less than an hour you start to feel caffeine's effects. You're more alert, energetic and productive. Your mood lifts and that foggy, tired feeling is gone.

If you rely on daily doses of caffeine to chase away fatigue and perk up your disposition, you aren't alone. Nine out of 10 Americans consume some type of caffeine regularly, making it the most popular behavior-altering drug."

BUT, is that "foggy tired feeling" a result of having consumed caffeine the day before and the day before that day??? What would happen if a caffeine consumer stopped consuming caffeine? Well at first, they would probably freak out, but after a month or so, would they still have that "foggy tired feeling", since their body is no longer dependent on caffeine? I have consumed coffee in the past, but not for years. Maybe I'm unique, but I wake up feeling refreshed and I'm ready to hit the floor running; I don't "need" caffeine and it would put me over the edge!

Again, the primary reason why I discontinued drinking coffee was because I never wanted to become like some people I know who pretty much describe themselves as totally useless until they have their morning fix.

Then again, I've only had one Jamba smoothie.

    • moderate amount of coffee is okay per Mayo...and 9 out 10 americans regulary consume caffeine daily....

if jmba truly wants to increase sss and offer breakfast...bring out the jambajava already

For most people, moderate doses of caffeine 200 to 300 milligrams (mg), or about two to three cups of brewed coffee a day aren't harmful.
