Think of it this way, all of the profits the California stores generate, go to management! Great talent and brains should be compensated well, however, when your just about to break even and make a small profit, don't lavish huge stock options and cash awards and not share with the shareholders , as a stakeholder, I feel Short Changed! Mr. White, share the profits, let management prove they have the correct vision, some the items JAMBA has brought to market are great, some are like a boat without a rudder, appear, and disappear, without even being spoken of in a conference call! Get the product "RIGHT" the first time and there will be plenty to share with the management and stakeholders.
I agree 100%. Management should be more stock / bonus compensated based on delivering results (be they share price increases, profit / revenue increases, whatever). I think White and team have done a reasonably good job, but they are taking too much out for themselves, too soon, in my opinion. I am out, looking to buy back below $2.50.
