BREAKING: DSNY to Market ClipStream at Seattle Interactive Conference - 10/28 to 10/30
Full PR release can be found on the DSNY I-Hub Board. I've tried copying the newswire here several times, but Yahoo keeps deleting it.
DSNY is pleased to announce that it will market its new disruptive, playerless, cross-platform streaming video technology to web developers at the Seattle Interactive Conference from October 28 through October 30, 2013. As a sponsor, Destiny's sales staff will be exhibiting the new Clipstream® video technology and will be marketing the upcoming Clipstream® Video Cloud service to web developers and corporate customers. As previously announced, a full commercial launch of the soon to be released Clipstream® Video Cloud service is expected before the end of the company's first fiscal quarter, which ends November 30th.
"We are excited to begin marketing our new Clipstream® Video Cloud Service during this pre-launch phase. This will be the first in a series of offerings that will use our Clipstream® technology and represents our first steps into a large multi-billion dollar market opportunity," said Destiny Chief Executive Officer, Steve Vestergaard.
I am tempted to go out to the conference to see how much buzz they generate but given my age(too old to admit) I'll pass. Bottom line is that despite the delays and the miscommunications, this product now seems ready for prime time. If it is half as good as they say it is, the world of video will be forever changed, and our fortunes along with it.
One thing I can speak from is experience, and mine tells me there are very few situations as good as DSNY that crop up during an investors lifetime. The next couple of years should be huge fun for us and for the company.
