Unduly harsh punishment for ridiculous expectations.
I believe they should just do away with giving guidance because the know-nothing analysts
place silly goals they themselves - no company - could possibly meet. Riverbed is fine, sellers at this price are just plain nuts.

  you dont know whats going on behind the scenes. Opnet acquisition was horrible. CTO Steve Mcaane basically built the granite and cascade. He resigned abruptly and quit his seat on the board too. tht means trouble. goodluck

    If that was the case, seems to me he would have left after the acquisition or at least at the end of the year. But I agree with you the Opnet acquisition. Was supposed to be accretive from day one.
