You are right. The small shorts are being squeezed this morning.
You saw someone showed 30,000 share bid at 35.90 this morning. And everyone ran to cover the short. But did this guy really wanted to buy? Or did he really need to sell, just tried to trick others to buy his shares.
You may also notice that later most of the ask size's were 1000-2000 shares. So, it's not you and I are selling. It's some big guys.
Just trade with the trend in your specific time frame. If you are position/swing trading, give some room so that you will not get stop out early.
