    An honest question:

I've owned Dicks stock in the past, but sold after they bought Galyan's last year. I have been waiting for an re-entry point, but recently have become leery. I haven't really shopped at Dicks much because they're not close to me, but recently they opened a store in my area. I have been to the store 5 or 6 times over the past month and there is never anyone in there. If this is a common occurrence how are they so profitable? For all of you that shop at Dicks often, can you describe what it's like when you're there?

    • Don't know where you are from but I can't begin to tell you how happy I am Dick's took over the Galyan shops in Chicago. I now have a destination with a solid sporting goods selection and reasonable price. I owned the stock from day one and just now am I able to use my keychain discount Score Card regularly to generate points for cash coupons.

The stores I'm in always have traffic - weekdays and weekends. The presentation is impactful and the stores are well merchandised.

You missed the re-entry point on 4/28 at noon. But with DKS it isn't to late...... Watch this one move.... As you can tell I'm bullish on this company, it's approach and it's executives.
