The consumer has spent all their money....(what little they have)......and most of the stores, in fact just about EVERY STORE that I've been in, is selling everything at HUGE discounts.....the kind of discounts you see in January.
Which means, they might sell product, but the margins will be terrible.
And AFTER Christmas, what's the motiviation to get people to continue spending?
SMART MONEY SELLS into the Christmas rally......because it's going to be VERY BAD afterwards.
