Well I wish you luck. I've just gotten burned so many times when I should have inked my gains but didn't. This stock just seems overbought here. Perhaps you don't care about a short-term pullback, figuring you're in it for the long-term, however the retail space is facing increasing pressure from on-line retailers and I just don't see long term potential here. Anyhow, good luck to you, just make sure you have a plan in place, don't hold it forever.
I don't disagree that DKS may be overbought here, mxpxqc78, and I completely relate to the frustration over seeing gains come and go. Volatility has become the norm for our equity markets.
I have very high confidence in DKS to provide market-beating returns over the long term. That gives me the confidence to ride out the dips and dodges we see. None of us is smart enough to predict every high and low. My past return would have been lower had I tried.
I guess my one disagreement with you is the long-term potential here, with the company still in its growth phase. Keep in mind that e-tailing is an emphasis of management. We'll need to agree to disagree over that one. Good luck.
