They provide updates on the drilling and seismic programs. * Seismic has been moved up by two weeks and will commence by Jan 15th * Drilling program expected to start by Feb 15th * Added an additional project to deepend two existing (suspended) wells. The Service rig to move onto the site the first week of January with results expected by month end.
Did not notice the "pending financing" language that had been present in the previous announcements! Sounds like things are moving along....
will this have any bearing on the share price of KDKN? I was of the understanding that KDKN is also supposed to be drilling (?Little Chicago) in Feb 2011. Since KDKN holds a large part of Cougar when will this be reflected in KDKN's share price?
Where did you hear that Kodiak was drilling EL413 this Feb? I think the delays in the Mckennsie Pipeline has put that project on the shelf for a while. There is an estimated Billion Barrels of oil and quite a bit of gas up there but not much infrustructure and a harsh environment. It does now look like the pipeline will be built now that they have approval from the powere that be. If they did drill the exploratory wells and hit oil KDKN would be at $4-$5 per share.
The current situation definately adds vale to the almost once dead KDKN for sure because they own 62% of Cougar and are calling all the shots.
Whats really amazing me is that they are actually drilling this week! Way ahead of schedule in my book.
