Raymond James upgrade-- what a joke

The last analyst who covered the name at RJ rode this POS way down, now it looks like they've found someone else to suffer.

RJ's next upgrade will be to Really Strong Buy, then Really, Really Strong Buy just before the stock goes to $0.

People, Intermec has a poor business and is getting killed by ZBRA and MSI- end of story. They consistently miss the Street's calls for a turnaround/rebound, and they will continue to do so.

Intermec upgraded to Strong Buy from Outperform at Raymond James
Raymond James transferred coverage on Intermec with a Strong Buy rating from an Outperform rating. Price target is $10.

    • I hear you, but something smells funny here.... The timing, the "strong buy,".... Smells.

    • I think you guys are misunderstanding my previous post-- which I put up after the upgrade but before IN's pre-announcement.

I think the RJ analyst is incompetent, not fraudulent. He thought (incorrectly) that management might be halfway decent and be able to turn save this sinking ship. For that, his reputation already is paying a price.

The people you should blame are the management team and the directors. The value destruction over the past few years has been incredible.

      • First Raymond James has always been in the tank believing the line of crap that the incompetent management of Intermec feeds them.Second: Bryne and his team have utterly destroyed this company. When he came in the company had a market cap of $1.6B and yet the Board is not doing their duty and giving this guy and his team the walking papers. Hell he would appreciate it. From what I read in last years proxy he would get three years of salary and bonus plus stock to leave. Whatever happened with tying compensation to performance.Third: Let's see what did this guy accomplish at Intermec: lost customer base to Motorola and Honeywell, alienated the channel, drove expeirenced employees out of the company, grew overhead about as fast as the U.S.Govt., stupidly bought a managed services company that was losing money that no one wanted, overpaid for a voice company whose biggest source of revenue came from Motorola (guess what is going to happen with that), came out with a bunch of look alike handheld computers while the market is moving to tablets ..... it goes on and on

Stick a fork in it ... based on this latest fiasco dont' see how this company can stay independent much longer.

    • I think the jokes one us; this joker must've got paid to bail out those in the know. How can someone pump this POS 9 hours before they report horrible results/forecast? No end to back door deals.
