While technology is important and can launch a company getting it up and running, it takes people to carry the ball into the future. A company that invests in people outperforms those that focus on quarterly results. Case in point - Costco, who's grown historically at a 12% rate over the years vs GE who only grew at 6%. One invests in people, one in technology. This one's decided to invest in tech. Perhaps it should try the other approach to get its stock out of its poor performance.
