Don't be intimidated by small fry BAG HOLDERS here. I'm waiting for 3's to add to my very low 4's as well. Of course you will get bashers here who are still praying for a double just to get some of their losses back.
Hell, even so called smart money investors paid up huge for this stock just a few months ago, as insiders announced a 14M common share stock offering at $10.75 per share.
So invest75, investors down here in the very low 4's and looking for 3's, are clearly the SMART MONEY investors here lol.
When Dundee Securities paid $10.75 per share, gold was $1450 and the stock was trading at $11.99. Gold was looking to go back to $1600, not down to $1000.
The stock immediately dropped to $10.20, then rose back to $10.60, and then, the next day, the horror show went into overdrive.
But at that point, the company had not formally announced any problems whatsoever. All-in-costs were presumed to be considerably less, and it seemed as if the loan would mostly finance the new mine (when coupled with expected profits, and money they already had).
ANyway, point being, you have cheap ANV shares -- but this is a completely different stock, with a different storyline, judged doubly against completely different gold and silver prices.
