or this Now there are 2 new competors

soggy and goatsukingshort, I am going out for the night for dinner. Tomorrow will be all Nebraska kicking kstate azz. I will read and post on sunday the reviews on all the lasers. One might try to find out info on the 2 new companys and about their lasers. I posted the names of the companys and lasers on my previous post. It was interesting to see 2 new companys that have hit the market since Oct. I just this month with fda aprovel. But the whole front page of this oversized mag says lasers. I think someone said there was a picture of the cover on the dentisty today website.

    • Slick, at this point I'm mostly interested to know what technology the "new" competitors are using. Are they just soft tissue lasers? Or are they hard tissue? In what capacity might they compete with Biolase? There are a lot of questions to be answered.

As the 10Q states, the Waterlase is the bread and butter of Biolase. So the new competitors have to be able to eat into the Waterlase sales in order to be a "real" threat to Biolase.

If they're cutting with laser light directly, which I'm assumig they are, then I'm not very concerned. Are they a "me too" type of thing? Or have they improved upon existing technology? I'd be interested to find out. We can't assume we have "build it and they will come" situation at hand.

Your comments about the SEC putting BLTI on the back burner are a little disappointing. It as if you're assuming that every issue that the SEC handles is being help up by the ongoing mutual fund invesigations. Seems silly to make that statement when have no way of knowing. I would expect such a statement from a "Strong Sell" party but not you.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Hope you had a nice dinner.

      Soggy
