<<For you to read the single thread that you posted to: 5 minutes.
For everyone to see the same post twice: timeless
Wasn't trying to be harsh, don't be offended, it's not that big a deal.>>
You're correct it's really not such a big deal after all with so much more serious stuff going on in the world my miss of reading a post is not even worthy of someone typing a response about it. But if it takes your mind off the serious stuff go ahead & type cause I don't blame you.
Who said this?
"Pleasse read the threads that you post to."
Right, it was Souldogs.
The Teddy quote was cited earlier today:
"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants.
He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him
or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant,
about him than about any one else."
Guess who said this?
"Theodore Roosevelt in the Kansas City Star"
May 7, 1918
He could admit the truth. He was a crook when he worked at Harken Energy, directors should not recieve options and shares, he was aware of the upcoming quarterly report, but sold, so all the little guys would lose while I made millions.
He could also admit, there is very little gdp growth. It is all deficet induced gdp growth.
Meaning a deficet causes dilution in dollars which is gdp growth.
"forgive me and note one of my early comments about not listening to anyone who has had over two drinks during the night"
We'll need to replace the "sentiment disclosure" with "blood alcohol level."
But don't worry; the political pollution is so dense your contribution was hardly noticeable.
I wholly agree it is sizzle not steak people want. Try telling anyone 80 years old that they got ten times more than they deserved from social security and their grandchildren will be the poorer for it. You get a lot of denial and maybe some we earned it crap.
Yikes _I gave my political opinions---something I had previously denounced others for doing on this board...no excuse but forgive me and note one of my early comments about not listening to anyone who has had over two drinks during the night
