Biolase sold the last of the 159 WaterLase MDs they bought back from Schein's
Interesting take on the report of the remaining 159 sold report. Of course there's going to be a spike in revenue when there's a sale. I regard margins as meaningless unless they translate to significant cash.
I will be most interested to see the change in USA sales. I fear that with BIOL's aggressive international expansion they are repeating the early USA efforts, and results, where the majority of buyers are Early Adopters.
Could be a history repeat: Weak follow through or no surge in demand by more cautious buyers especially when the price is higher and service becomes a problem on an international basis.
If BIOL sees sustained and significant demand increases, I will be amazed.
