Almost everyone agrees that sales, revenues, and profits are what are needed now, yet you are concerned about the sales staff saleries and perks. First, what perks are you talking about? Have yuo researched them? What is their cost. Next, I would hope they spend the money to get the best salesman who have the contacts and can move a lot of product. You want salesman experienced in the dental industry, who have clients that they know will spend the money for these systems. Or would you rather they hire some freshout, making cold calls, to keep the salaries down to save a few bucks. I am an engineer and you sound like one. Engineers feel that they do all the work and the overpriced salesmen make all the money. I would expect these salesman to work off a base salary and commissions. I hope they have the potentialtomake $100s of thousands in commissions. They need to be motivated to make money. If they are motivated and qualified, we will all be successful.
