A Dorsey-Wright P&F chart analyst has an $86 price target on FFIV. But several things bother me about FFIV as a short candidate, and that is despite the insider selling: F5 continues to outperform the cloud ETF, SKYY on a technical basis. Earnings estimates keep on being ratcheted higher. $100 seems to be holding well despite 2 to 3 times to break it, the longs keep pushing it up to close over $100. ATEN stinks, they are not a viable competitor to F5 and at some point, probably next year, companies will have to build out their network infrastructure combined with built-in firewall security to accommodate the migration to cloud and higher bandwidth. So even if Companies delay this year, next year, they will have to shell out for VMW, FFIV, and etc.
