Management. They use to be quick and nimble. Also had low overhead cost with with a clear corporate direction and provided support to Franchisees. Now they have more VP's than you can shake a stick at and too many of them are clueless or afraid to do what needs to be done. Especially with the company owned stores. They took on too much debt trying to build just for the sake of building new stores even if they were in the wrong places. Mismanaged company store remodels which sucked the profit right out of the company stores. Nothing that can't be fixed it's just going to take a little shake up. And focus. Selling half of the company stores should also help the bottom line.
