Today i called about 20 BBBY stores to inquire about the sodastream products. I called stores all across the USA.
EVERY store i called told me that the machines are selling well, returns have been minimal and people continue to come back in for refills.
If you are long (especially on a day like today) I suggest you do the same thing i did. Phone numbers are on the BBBY website, use the store locator.
It will help you sleep better at night!!!
"Thanks for the input. You know I was going to do the same thing...then I realized that I HAVE A LIFE!!! HAHAHAHAHA You are so ridiculous!! Talk about getting emotional and falling in love with a stock. I hope you are diversified because this is gonna drop like a rock. It is a fad, why not invest in silly bands!! They were selling amazingly well!!"
Are you coming to play today??
Next time dont be such a wise guy
My checks continue to confirm that sales are good, follow up sales are steady, and returns are few and far between.
If they dont blow it out of the water, I would suspect some serious fraud......
I know all the advertising, promotion and product development costs a ton, but everything points to a huge beat of the revenue and EPS estimates.
Nobody could have precicted how well this would sell right at introduction.
Every where i go , i hear the same story:
"I bought it, and now everyone who sees it says wow thats the coolest thing and than runs out and buys it"
I guess we will know tomorrow
Calm down clown.
Apple has a 330B market cap. a 50% move from here would be the first in the hisory of the world...i.e. adding 150B in mkt cap.
Soda has 700mm market cap...a double could happen easily. Look at penetration in Sweden...20% of all households...the U.S. is less than .2%. If penetration goes to 1%, the stock is double.
Not clear AAPL is the better bet especially given there is no one to run it after the sad but imminent passing of Jobs.
CEO must have said at least 5 times that the growth is exploding of this product. Q4 numbers are going to be so dramatically robust. How good anyone be short going into the Conference Call on March 1, 2011????
I was at the mall yesterday and the Apple store was empty...like a ghost town. I never saw anything like it. It turns out everyone was buying soda makers. Coke better buy the company soon or they will go out of business!! I haven't slept in a week, I just keep making soda canister afetr soda canister!! This is often, stock should break $1000 a share by summer. HAHAHAHAHAHA...under $20 in 12 months!!
Over the last few days I have called a bunch of macys, bed/bath and a bunch of williams sonoma's
I got pretty much the same response all around.
product continues to sell well, and returns are few and far between.
