Both Coke and Pepsi have long-term contracts with independent bottlers.Undoing those contracts would make a takeover of SODA unfeasible.Evil thought: Either could take it over in order to tamp down its growth ... in order to protect their core business.

Sure hope they don't buy it out. Too radical, I should think. Besides, SODA shareholders should make more in the short term by just hanging on to the shares they already have. I saw a price target for SODA in the hundreds of dollars.
