When I read that post I was reminded of when I got one as a gift and thought of all the potential while it was still in the box. That is where it still is 10 years later with my ex wife and all of her other junk. I sold and moved on.
Based on the earnngs webcast, U.S. buyers in particular have been faithfully using their SODA machines, which is why there's such solid growth in the sale of the flavorings and the carbnation refills.
SODA increased its presence in more than 1,100 stores; the total is now about 7,000 stores.
Best of all, SODA has a new product that'll soon be on the market: a carafe that'll replace bottled water (including carbonated water and flavored waters) in restaurants. U.S. alone has 500,000 restaurants that serve bottled water. The market is huge--as is the savings for restaurants that buy the carafes.
