I think it likely that SODA will even exceed this writer's expectations. The writer assumes growth at a steady velocity. A greater likelihood is that the velocity will accelerate substantially as the "mainstream" acceptance of SODA products takes place. This is really a case of either or. Either acceptance is realized and amazing growth in revenues and earnings takes place or the company simply peters out. I find the former more realistic.

While it is a well written article, I would note, that if this author would take a little more time to read through SODA's annual filing he would discover more plausible reasons as to why there is a lack of buying support and great short accumulation. Consider the authors own queries about this matter when weighing the value of the article. Due diligence is always necessary.

      • My opinion the earning and cash flow will supersede any bump in the road in terms of additional taxes etc... So they do 6 bucks next year and they have to pay an addition 5-10M in tax is really doesn't matter.

I think this Company will sell 65% more machines in both the 3rd and 4th q based on my calculations. The stock price will be higher....

      • Why does it matter regarding the valuation. The valuation, regardless of the particulars of SODA's current pps should be the discounted value of its future cash flows or the discounted value of its projected price at some point. Longs and shorts come and go regardless of revenue and earnings.

If in four years SODA is earning almost $6 and its pps is 17 , its price would be over $100. At a 12% discount rate that gives you a current valuation of about $65. That might be simplistic, but it makes more sense than relying on the status of emotional interests whether long or short.

      • Well gee, goldseth, since the article didnt point out the reasons for such a short accumulation, why dont you???? Im sure there are interested long and shorts.

    • Agreed

I also believe the profits will increase, but at a faster rate than indicated by the article.

      For two reasons:
      - WALMART - I believe this next quarter will show they are out performing expectations. This will SPEED UP the mainstreaming of the product into the US. not a small event
      - JAPAN & ASIA - Not small markets, and again will have surprising results.

The next 2 quarters will be the game changers as to perception of the company.

Well written article, just misses a few point of interest along the lines of margins and operational status with regards to user adoption as Martin suggests and the data proves outright.
