As for SODA, I plan on selling into this news as I don't like the action in this stock or in the market in general. No rhyme or reason behind expectations and this market seems to be somewhat frothy. Whenever there is a sustained run in the market, there seems to be a dramatic increase in armchair speculators. Hard to make money long-term so its best to stand aside. I do like this company but the risk/reward ratio is telling me its time to sit on the sidelines.
I have a small long position in SODA but these types of posts are silly and only perpetuate mis-information. You use the term "manipulation" and give no context or support. Who exactly is manipulating this stock, especially in the pre-market? You amaturistic description of short selling would be comical if it had no chance of being read. There no nefarious actions, no dark cloaked manipulators, just some people with half-knowledge spouting childish NONESENSE.
Its like watching criminals get away with their loot. Watching even part of that 8M short being able to cover is plain ridiculous. The existing major institutional stake holders are not mean enough. They should be like icahn stepping in there to make sure the tape is painted WAY high.
