Virgin Cola buying out Soda would be a better fit than KO and PEP
Where KO and PEP has potential they still need to contend with their bottlers obligation. Virgin Soda like the other Virgin companies thinks out of the box and looks for disruptors. Soda would fit in their arsenial. Go Soda
That's the point with Virgin, they gave up on Virgin Cola but Branson wants to save the planet and Sodastream has some tie in. Still looking in but Sodastream likes Branson and one of Branson's partnership contacts is the same ceo that was Sodastream designer.
Interesting thought but Virgin Cola was a dismal failure and barely exists anymore.
"Richard Branson glorifies failure by labeling his Virgin Cola venture his ‘most successful failure’ – where he learned that the World’s largest beverage companies are certainly not the large, sluggish, non-proactive behemoths that he had originally perceived them to be.
Branson said "That business taught me not to underestimate the power of the world's leading soft drink makers. I'll never again make the mistake of thinking that all large, dominant companies are sleepy!""
